Situation Sthlm
Since 1995, the street magazine Situation Sthlm has been sold by people experiencing homelessness in Stockholm, providing an important path toward income and a more stable life situation. As more customers began paying with Swish, new challenges emerged around how payments were registered, tracked, and paid out to vendors. The manual processes were time-consuming, created administrative overhead, and often meant that vendors had to wait to access their earnings.
We helped Situation Sthlm modernize their entire payment system and build a digital flow tailored to their operations. The solution connects Swish payments to an internal system where each sale is registered in real time and automatically linked to the correct vendor. At the same time, administrative processes were streamlined and new tools were introduced to simplify onboarding and payout management.
The result is a transparent and automated system where sales are visible instantly and vendors no longer have to wait for their payments. The organization has significantly reduced administrative workload and can now focus more fully on its core mission — supporting individuals on their path toward greater independence and stability.
