Barndiabetesfonden<\/h1>\n\n\n

Barndiabetesfonden (Childhood Diabetes Foundation) wanted to make becoming a monthly donor or member as easy as making a one-time Swish donation \u2013 while keeping two separate organizations (the Foundation and the National Association) clearly distinct in payment flows and accounting. Together, we developed a complete solution for Swish recurring payments where monthly donations for Type 1 diabetes research and National Association memberships are handled seamlessly alongside existing one-time payments. As a technical pilot partner to Handelsbanken and Swish, we helped verify the new feature in a live environment and made Barndiabetesfonden one of the first practical implementations of Swish recurring payments in Sweden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution is built on a WordPress website with WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions where our own payment gateway, CV Payments, serves as the hub between the website, Handelsbanken, and Swish. Each product is linked to the correct organization, Swish number, and certificate, transaction data is stored in WooCommerce and prepared for Salesforce sync, and smart fallback flows catch users whose banks don’t yet support Swish recurring payments. The architecture runs on AWS with CloudFront for performance, full tracking via GA\/GTM, and an SEO-optimized structure \u2013 and is ready to connect more banks as they activate support for Swish recurring payments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pioneers with Swish Recurring Payments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barndiabetesfonden is one of the very first fundraising organizations in the world to use Swish recurring payments for monthly donors. The new feature in Swish makes it possible to collect subscriptions, memberships, and recurring payments directly in the app \u2013 with full overview for the user. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
